GI Norden's Award of honour to FIG's President Stig Enemark
At the 21st Nordic GIS Conference in Stockholm 24th-25th September, GI Norden's president Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdottir announced that the Award of honour will be given to FIG’s president Stig Enemark from Denmark.
Stig Enemark is achieving a distinction in promoting Nordic GI internationally as president for the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), and being one of the key drivers in GI educations through problem based learning.
The award has earlier been given to Olaf Østensen from Norway in 2006, Bengt Rystedt from Sweden in 2007, and Jan Terje Bjørke from Norway in 2008.
