Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdottir new president of GI Norden
Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdottir from Iceland was elected new president of GI Norden at the annual meeting at Sollentuna in Sweden 27th May 2009. Paula Ahonen-Rainio has been president for the last two years and left the board. Þorbjörg Kr. Kjartansdottir has been vice-president for the last four years.

Peter Wasström from Sweden was elected new vice-president, Rannveig Ólafsdóttir from Iceland new secretary after Daniela Hellgren from Finland, and Karsten Lien was elected new treasurer after Rolf Bakken, both from Norway.
